If you were wandering through the maze like streets of SoHo and had the unexplainable need and desire to splash water on your face, this should be the vanity you come to at the end of your day. Cool and refreshing with royal blue counter, basin and mirror accents complimented by a chrome stand. This is the one where function and cool waves of relaxation crash into gentle waves.

We’ve installed several products from Hudson Reed that we are unhappy with.

First, we have a shower valve that is very slow. I have determined that the problem is in the valve body, downstream of the flow control valve, before the water is directed upward: I can look down into the valve from the top, and there are no obstructions visible, and with the flow control valve off, I’ve tried blowing into the valve body and it is very difficult to blow air through it. (I wish my plumber had bothered to do this before installing the faucet, but that is another story!) To demonstrate that we have plenty of water pressure in the house, I had my wifey turn on the water to the house for a few seconds while the flow control valve was off – in the video you can see plenty of water gushing out. And then I demonstrate that there is about 1/4 the volume of water you would want for a good shower.

Second, we have a couple of wall-mount faucets that dribble water after you shut them off. As far as I can tell, this is the water in the horizontal section coming out – the valves themselves are not leaking. Sometimes instead of dribbling out immediately after shutoff, this water will come out in little fits over the next 10 minutes. This is extremely annoying.
