Alright, so I have been out of town for a while, and my little cousin has been using my bathroom…ew. My other cousin is coming in from California tomorrow, and I haven’t seen him since I was three. Both my bathroom and my room are a total mess and I need to get them cleaned pronto. Does anybody have any tips or tricks that would help me get the job done in as little time as possible?
After your shower use the wash cloth to wipe down the stall. Dry it with the bath towel (after YOU are dry). Next wipe down the mirror, sink, and toilet, in that order – less to most dirty. Dry each with the towel. Lastly scoop up the dust bunnies with the towel and throw the whole lot into the washer. As for the bedroom, strip the bed and remake it. Put all dirty laundry into washing piles – white, lights, brights, and darks. Damp dust with a lightly moistened pillow case from the bed. Take the laundry out to the washer and continue to wash. Lastly, run the vacuum. This should take you about an hour – more or less. Pour yourself a glass of wine.

I am moving in to a flat but don’t intend to stay permanently,perhaps 1 year.The landlord is replacing the avocado bathroom suite with a new white one.The problem is the sandy coloured tiles are horrible and will look even worse against the white bath. Does painting the tiles work effectively,and if so what is the best way to do it?
I bought some tle paint for my kitchen and it looked really good. It did take a while mind and was a pain in the arse. Why don’t you get some transfers instead. There is paper in woolworths that you can cut to the size of the tile, they have mosaic patterns or you could put silver. It does sound a bit rubbish how I’m explaining them but they do look great.

Just wondering if they are any plumbers/people who have recently had bathrooms fitted that can tell me how much it usually costs (in the UK) The cost will be for the plumber’s labour only (does not include the new suite) and would be to take out the existing suite and replace with a new one. Just wanted an idea before I get quotes. Thanks in advance
If it is a straightforward replacement i.e no major alterations to plumbing,I would charge around £300 and would take 2 days. Tiling is between £30 and £40 per square metre depending on size of tiles and amount of cuts.

What’s the cheapest option for buying a new bathroom and what can we expect the fitting costs to be?

We move into a new house in a few weeks and know that main room that needs re-doing is the bathroom. Looking around on the internet we have found some nice bathroom suites with toilet, bath and sink for around £700. Obviously this doesn’t include the fitting Is it cheaper to get a fully-fitted suite from a big chain or order the suite online and pay a local guy to fit in? So what would the costs be to get someone in to fit it all out? It’s difficult to find this information online.
Just in the middle of doing this myself! Mainly cheaper to buy suite online (ebay etc) though some deals at B&Q or Focus are great for basics. My person just quoted £1500 to fit everything including new shower cubicle etc. Moving any pipes increases the costs so if you stay with the same layout it’s better. Tiles can also be sourced on ebay – I typed in fired Earth and found a great company that had them half the price of a fired earth shop plus other great bargains too. If you want something more upmarket, go round a showroom and see what you like – note down mae and model number and stick in google search – you should be able to track down a better price! Good luck

Hi,, I have a old bathroom suite from Armitage shanks in a green colour. Its a lovely colour green and would like to keep it. Im going to do up my bathroom but would like to know the website of them so i can get in touch also to see if they still do the colour green. All bathrooms seem to be white these days.
